Of the three of us that were exposed to a positive coworker, Im the unlucky one. Im also the "older" one.
I tried to contact my reg. PCP, hopefully I get a call back on my next steps.
I also had to contact my employer on my results.

Well, here we go!
Its 10:45 and my Covid test appt is in 15 mins.
I went to my local CVS to test. You have to go through the drive thru and they pass you a bag with the swab, etc.
After some simple step by step direction from the assistant through the window and speaker, it was done. Took a couple minutes, easy peasy!
Now we wait two more days for results! Ugh!
Oh! Merry Christmas Eve!
Im still feeling fine.
So I wake up at my usual 4:30am. I have a little breakfast, my vitamins, and my fave Naked Blue Machine smoothie drink.
I wanted to go out and run errands since I did feel fine. But I was being quarantined....I didn't know if I was positive or not and I didn't want to be the one spreading Covid if I was. So I stayed home and vegged on the couch. I had recently downloaded Procreate and was trying to learn how to use it so I started binging YouTube videos.
The suspense is killing me.... waiting to get tested. They're so booked, because of everyone testing before they travel or go see family for the holidays.
I wanted the rapid results test, but it was booked and had to opt for the regular test.
Grrrrr!
Im still feeling ok.
My morning started off great! Did my shift, then after had to run to the local Nordstrom at the mall to pick up the latest Anatasia highlight pallet. I also had a virtual appt with my endocrinologist, which I ended up having in my car in the parking lot since I spent too much time in the store. Lol! Then I went home.
Later that evening.....
Hey are you being quarantined?
I received this text message from at coworker on December 22, 2020 at 6:10pm.
They went on to tell me that they had to be quarantined due to being exposed to a coworker that was Covid positive. Then our curiosity was getting the best of us and we were trying to guess who it could have been. During our conversation, I decided to scroll through missed calls from my day. I realized I had a message from my company's HR contact person. I too had to be quarantined. We were apparently exposed on December 17th. I freaked. I felt fine, but I already decided I was going to go get tested ASAP. Unfortunately the next available appt wasn't until 11am Christmas Eve.
Ok..... two days. So I wait....
And I wait......
